Updated: March 15, 2022 – Your Time is Precious

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Through writing and blogging, I have slowly built writers and bloggers network around me. Is nice to look at their journey on how they overcome their challenges. A talented writer who knows how to blog will make a giant impact in his space.

When I found myself stuck in creative writing; it was because I was having a hard time connecting with my authentic voice. I repeatedly asked myself, “What do I want?” Yet, I could never quite think of an answer. I felt like I have disconnected myself for a while because I did not know what I wanted to do, say, or create.

Maybe I’ve lost touch with my inner voice—or perhaps I’m not sure I’ve ever really been in contact with my authentic voice because I have so many other voices layered on top: friends, family, coworkers, society, etc., all telling me what I “should” be or do.

Is important to always reconnect with me. This is well-done solo and away from technology. Talk honestly with a friend, exercise, go for a walk, go on Spotify and listen to some meditation music and breathe for 10 minutes, or even take a solo trip.

Take some time to be quiet and tune in to what my inner voice has to say. Only having an inner voice will create stuff, so I could be proud of it and have fun. There’s only one of me, and my life is unlike anyone else’s, and blogging is a beautiful way of sharing that with the world because your time is precious.

“Successful blogging is not about one time hits. It’s about building a loyal following.”—David Aston.

Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking.

Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become.

‘Everything else is secondary.’—Steve Jobs.
