Updated: March 13, 2022 – Why did I leave Malaysia 7 years ago when I wrote this blog, or now is already 8 years this year.

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Since 2014, I left Malaysia, moved to a foreign land together with my family, not knowing what the situation and the future holds. Still, I believe something great will happen in my career life with my strong desire and determination.

People said why Indonesia?

Aren’t you afraid of 1998 incident will resurface?

What are you going to do if the plan doesn’t work?

I know one day you are going to come back. You will regret it.

What if political instability happens again?

What if… so many what-ifs.

Life On The Road See Where I'm Going Next

When looking back, as a veterinarian in Indonesia, I have learned many things. Managing and Investigating Disease Outbreaks, Managing People, Learning another Foreign Language, Learning New Business Structures, Upgrading Communication Skills, Learning Soft Skill Tools, Explore Mother Nature, Discover New Horizons, New Culture. A new destiny of my life.

I always love to learn and find out new things because having a beginner’s mind is an asset. Be a learner and execute it. There are still ways to find out if I know nothing.

For me, I always set the mindset for my subordinates to be asking questions and seeking why things work or don’t work. Importantly is how to improve it.

We can still apply successful principles from other businesses to our own. Model the success of other people, even outside our niche.

At the end of May 2020, during the pandemic, I had my first Zoom Chat with Steve Wee @stevewee over lunch break. He was mentoring me for ways to bring achievement in the real world to the online world. Therefore, I am glad to have him as my mentor as Why did I leave Malaysia 7 years ago gave me a deeper meaning in life. For more content, please like and follow @daniel.hyng on Instagram!
