Important Life Element
The Power of Meditation. Mental health has become an important element in our life in every stage from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. This includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being, which affects how we think, feel and act. It further determines how we handle stress, relate to others, and decide. The power of meditation practice can improve mental health significantly in the long run. Starting your day off on the right note is probably the most essential part of setting yourself up for success.
Your Morning Routines
Many successful people often speak about their morning routines, and the effects it has on their day. So I’ve tried and got into a morning routine that works, instead of having to wake up and rush around just to get to work.
It is easy and quick and will make a massive difference.
Focused meditation and breathing within the first 10 minutes have proven to be highly beneficial. Many believe that this is a great way to set you up for a successful day ahead.
Meditation Power Techniques
I am fortunate to have a brilliant teacher that mentored me in a proper meditation, and I am eternally grateful to achieve the level of mindfulness with emotional intelligence. That’s the power of meditation.
As a beginner, is better to sit no longer than 20 minutes. Set your timer. During that time, find a place to sit that feels calm to you. You can sit with loosely crossed legs (lotus or half lotus) with back straight. If you are not comfortable with this, sit in a chair with your feet on the floor is fine either. Make sure you are stable and sit in a position that you can stay in for a while and suit you best.
Now close your eyes. The half smile on your face breathes slowly and deeply, following each breath. Follow the sensation of your breathing using only your abdominal muscles. As you breathe, focus all your attention on the movement of your abdominal muscles, moving inwards and outwards, mentioning in and out. In. Out. Coming in one with the breath, and then let it out of everything. Repeat.
Just observe the reality of the present moment. This technique gets the rest lies on watching and letting go. You will soon reach in an inner peace and joy if you practice the technique correctly. Thus, maintain the tranquility.
Elimination of Monkey Mind
Totally relaxation and peace in the sitting position during meditation is what you want to achieve. With the elimination of the monkey mind—detached from everything and truly focusing on your breathing, you have completely achieved the mindfulness level. The state of calmness is the joy and peace in this very moment of sitting. If you cannot find it here, you won’t find it anywhere.
You can later check out on my third book (still in writing). The Vetpreneur Voice: The Ultimate Game Changer, for the details on meditation.

I think mental health is one of those things we can often take for granted when all is well. This year I’m making an effort to really focus in and do things like journalling and meditating. Great post!
