A great man, leader, mentor, upline and a great friend. Jimmy Tan. Known him back in Malaysia since 2007. Before this, I only know my niche industry. I might be good at what I’m doing but when I’m out there, I am nothing.
This was when I learned my great leadership from him.
Life is not always a bed of roses, hence one must always strive to be better. Give it your best shot and let it be. Sometimes, winners lose more often than losers, but they never give up in despair. They get back on track and keep going instead.
That’s why it’s very important to have the right mindset. Your capability determines what you can do. Your motive decides what you’ll do. The outcome of your work depends on your attitude, and having a positive mindset is the key to success.
Even though I am doing a completely fresh interest now, those were the fundamentals, in which I persistently apply it in my daily life, be it in my career or personal growth, everywhere I am.
Will you jump out of your bed every day persistently with a positive mindset and say to yourself, ‘Is going to be a great today!’
I do. Because I have a strong WHY.
The value in life. I am very grateful to my great mentor.
Learn to be self-motivated. If you can only shine when encouraged by others, your glory will not last long. We must take the initiative, try to influence others, and become their source of inspiration.
That is a genuine leader!
Finding inspiration to me is everywhere. The beach, forest hiking, writing blogs, reading, podcast, temple, talking to positive minded friends, motivating subordinates, from people who are successful at their passion, chatting with a mentor, and the list just goes on.
Your mind just has to be open to seeking the positive benefits in any scenario you are in.
