This is one of my favorite quotes. Is not the CV. Is not the bio in LinkedIn. Neither the profile on Facebook nor Twitter. This is looking at me on a deeper level.
Personal Branding
It means figuring out what my personal brand might look like, what I want to share and what aspects of I might connect with other people, as well as what is sustainable—Your voice, your story, your mind, your vision.
In creative writing, most of the time, I will search for my voice to put into words. So, using my voice, there will be authenticity and pureness in delivering ideas and purpose. To have a good story craft, takes empathy, care, effort and lots of mental energy. I hit a mind blockage. Just like drawing and painting, writing is also an art form, regardless of any genre.
Your Network is Your Net Worth
Therefore, it is so essential for me to network with other writers, especially non-fictioneers, to keep me motivated. Its ability inspires me to improve my writing skills. When I meet other talented professionals in my field of interest, they drive me to higher ground. It’s thrilling to watch others succeed, especially when it motivates you toward your goals as well.
Networking connections add up to better and more significant opportunities. The more I connect with other professionals, the more exposure I will get, especially when we have unique expertise that we make known to the people we meet. I have found new mates who inspire, help, support, guide and encourage me to do what I love!
The Magical Ending
In a network, someone will pick you up when you hit rock bottom. Someone who can give you important lessons and even speak factual truths into your life. And someone who will walk alongside you to guide you as you take steps toward pursuing your calling. I call this Big Magic! A creative living beyond fear.
