Updated: April 01, 2022 – Mindset of a Leader
Estimated reading time: 2 minutes
A newbie
After graduating in 2001, I was a newbie to the working world. Lack of knowledge, lack of money, lack of confidence, lack of an established track record, fear, self-doubt, and no power team in place.
We can overcome these. Perhaps the only thing on that list that I had was a positive mindset and the determination to succeed. I have always been a positive thinker because I love problem-solving and a challenge. On top of that, I let nothing get me down.
Keep Fighting
So I keep going. With no further doubt, I learned from my mistakes and other people. I want to get better each time. And now making sure that I don’t repeat the mistakes that I made.
Think. What is stopping you from starting? We can find money, we can leverage time, we can learn knowledge, we can gain confidence, we can borrow a track record, we can mitigate risk, we can reduce fear, we can source a power team, we can change a mindset, we can squash self-doubt, and we can ignore the negs.
A Leader
You Don’t Need a Better Phone, a Better Home, or a Better Circumstance.
But You Need a Better Mindset of a Leader.

I graduated from Med school in 2001. The world of work was definitely scary, especially in the field of saving lives.
Mindset definitely had a big part to play in this world, especially for introverts like me.
